Privacy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

We keep this simple and honest, like everything else about the event. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

The data controller is The SaaSiest Company AB, org. nr 559166-3215, Persikogatan 2, 241 36 Eslöv, Sweden ("SaaSiest", "we"). Questions about your data: contact@saasiest.com. A human answers.

What we collect and why

Application data. When you apply for a seat, we collect your name, email, company, job title, company ARR band, employee range, your answer to what you want from the day, and how you heard about the event. We use this for one purpose: reviewing whether the event is a fit for you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in keeping the room to the stated criteria.

Approval and decline emails. We use your email to tell you the outcome of your application within 48 hours, and, if approved, to send your private registration link.

Registration and payment. Registration, ticketing and payment are handled by our ticketing provider, Confetti. When you register, Confetti presents its own terms and privacy policy, which you review and accept there. We receive attendee details from Confetti (name, email, company, ticket type) to run the event: check-in, room assignment, catering and practical communication. We never see your full payment details.

Event communication and newsletter. Before and after the event we send practical emails to registered attendees: agenda updates, venue information, and a follow-up after the day. These are part of delivering the event you registered for. When you register, you are also added to the SaaSiest newsletter, as stated during registration. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your ticket.

Analytics. This site uses Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It uses no cookies and collects no personal data. That is why you see no cookie banner.

Photography and film. The event is photographed and filmed for SaaSiest's own channels. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, email us and we take it down.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers under data processing agreements:

  • Airtable stores applications for review (servers may be located in the US; transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
  • Confetti handles registration, ticketing and payment under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • We also use standard tools for email delivery, hosting and internal workflows, all under data processing agreements.

We never sell attendee data. Partners do not receive attendee lists.

How long we keep it

We keep attendee records in our CRM for as long as you are part of the SaaSiest community, so we know which events you have attended and can review returning applicants fairly over the years. If you want your data deleted, email us and we remove it, except for bookkeeping records connected to payments, which we keep as required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email contact@saasiest.com and we handle it within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; ours is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. For questions this page does not answer, email us.
